One such release by one such label is Cherbourg’s debut EP “The Last Chapter of Dreaming”, released on Chess Club. Label mates to Mumford & Sons, White Lies and James Yuill, Cherbourg have a whole bunch of keys to their success. Songs driven through passionate songwriting and soaring harmonies have been winning over crowds for nearly a year now and as Cherbourg are starting to really hit their stride with a new EP due in July, their live show is propelling them forwards, garnering fans and accolades with every passing day.

The EP begins with the anthemic “Never Love Again” a forlorn tale of being just another broken heart in a line.

“You kissed my neck and you left the room,

You probably had someone better to do...

I will never love again with all my heart,

It just falls apart every time I try...”

The songs of forlorn are complemented by brooding track Horses and The Mill, perfectly rounding out the EP to show the exceptional songwriting talents available to the band. It is a tour de force of emotion, of instrumentation and the swing from despair to hope is palpable, exciting and inspiring.
